Haji Muhammed Bashir joined his family leather business at the age of 16 in the year 1945.
He had to leave his leather business in Calcutta when he moved to Lahore after partition.
After doing trading of a variety of items for some 5 to 6 years, he entered grain trading in 1954 and then rice milling business in 1957, when he bought Gohar Rice Mills. Both Punjab Rice and Flour Mills and Gohar Rice Mills were disposed off in 1977 and 1995 respectively.
The foundation stone of Seasons Group was laid in the form of National Flour and General Mills in 1968 in the form of family owned business.
Today, Seasons Group has significant presence in the food industry, whether it’s flour-milling, feed manufacturing, poultry farming or oil extraction. Recently, Seasons Group has started two new projects Seasons Snacks and Seasons Foods which produce variety of snacks and chicken products respectively.
The success story of Seasons Group, in its present form, began in 1962, when Haji Muhammed Bashir (Chairman of Seasons Group) entered flour milling business.
The first project was Punjab Rice and Flour Mills located at Lahore. In 1968, National Flour and General Mills Limited, located at Lahore Sheikhupura Road, was started, which later became the identity of the group.

National Flour and General Mills
This project was started in the year 1968. National Flour and General Mills (NFGM) is located at Chowk Pir Bahar Shah, Lahore Sheikhupura Road, Sheikhupura on an area of 61,000 square feet.
Sheikhupura is a grain growing district that makes National Flour and General Mills ideally located.
A combined storage capacity of 20,000 metric tons is available comprising of six steel silos, conventional godowns and open storag. National group has the honor of introducing steel silos amongst the flour mills in Pakistan.
These steel silos are equipped with automatic pouring and receiving system for grains, electronically controlled temperature monitoring system, automatic cleaning (for wheat) and aeration.
Fumigation arrangements have been made except for the open storage.
Required infrastructure, logistics and manpower are readily available for bulk grain handling, whether the grain has to be received or dispatched.
National Feeds Pvt. Ltd
This project was operational in the year 1987 and deals in Poultry & Cattle feed.
National Feeds Ltd is located at 22km Sheikhpura-Faisalabad Road, Sheikhupura.
Sheikhupura is a grain-growing district that gives National Feeds Ltd easier access to grains that form a major source of feed raw material.
The premises house three feed mills. The plant is mostly locally fabricated, however, the most important component that is pellet mills have been imported from California Pellet Mill Co. (CPM), USA, and Buhler Ag, Switzerland, both being leaders in this technology.
The plant also contains a grain dryer imported from Brock, USA. Majority of the storage is in steel silos, primarily of GSI (Grain Systems International, Illinois, USA), and Brock USA. Concrete silos, conventional godowns and open storage is also available.
These steel silos are equipped with automatic pouring and receiving system for grains, electronically controlled temperature monitoring system, automatic cleaning (for wheat, rice and maize) and aeration.
Required infrastructure, logistics and manpower are readily available for bulk grain handling, whether the grain has to be received or dispatched.
Supreme Flour Mills
This project was started in the year 1992. Supreme Flour Mills is located at 22Km Multan Road Lahore, on an area of 360,000 square feet. The primary advantage of its location is that raw material procurement is easier as grain markets are closely located.
Moreover, the city of Lahore is easily accessible to cater to the needs of urban consumers.
Rural areas are also being catered as the rural dwellings are closely located.
A combined storage capacity of 29,000 metric tons is available comprising of six steel silos, conventional godowns and open storage. These steel silos are equipped with automatic pouring and receiving system for grains, electronically controlled temperature monitoring system, automatic cleaning (for wheat) and aeration.

Supreme Flour Mills is ISO 22000 certified and in 1992, US AID (United States Agency for International Development) choose Supreme Flour Mills for demonstration of their bulk wheat storage and handling system.
