Another retailer is pulling out of Canada. Shortly after the mega news of Target’s Canadian departure,

Sony has announced that they as well will be pulling out of the Canadian retail Market. With poor TV sales and even weaker mobile sales, the Japanese-based electronics retailer has decided to close all 14 of it’s Canadian retail outlets.

According to the Toronto Star, Sony will continue to service Canadian customers by ” … redirect[ing] all of this business through our national network of Sony retailers, [Sony’s] online store . . . as well as through… Sony-trained Telesales team,”

As more and more retailers decide to pull the shoot on Canada, it’s interesting to think of how our retail landscape will shape up within the coming years.

ARE YOU SHOCKED THAT SONY CANADA WILL CLOSE ALL LOCATIONS?
