The PJ's Pets Story

The need for a different kind of pet store inspired our founder to create PJ's in 1969.
His vision: a pet store that put the health and happiness of pets first and provided Canadians with quality products in a clean, bright, welcoming environment.

For over forty years PJ's has been doing just that.
PJ's is a Canadian owned and operated company with 13 Ontario locations.
We proudly employ over 400 people and support dozens of Canadian pet product manufacturers, distributors and breeders.But, the best part about our story is that it is full of new beginnings.

The Pets Unlimited Story

Pets Unlimited is one of Canada's original pet superstores!
With their first store opening in 1988, Pets Unlimited unveiled 8,000 square feet of pet products designed with pet lovers in mind.
Today, Pets Unlimited has 14 locations across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland. IRMA on the other hand is the most gentle dog in the whole world; she always has shy, sad eyes, looking you right in the eye, she is black with white paws from the ankle down and the portion of her tail at the end is white.
